I didn't use the pre. release 1.9 . I just downloaded the 1.9 update an hour or so ago and pretty much everytime I load a world it crashes and I get that message. I hope there is an answer soon lol
OMG, I have been trying to figure out what this issue is on my son's pc. I thought it was something to do with Java 32 vs 64-bit. I have both versions installed. Nothing was working. Then.... thankfully I fell upon this post and VOILA!!! it worked. I don't know what VSync or VBOs are but I'm glad "webrosc" does. Thank you!!!

ModeratorGo to Option, then Video Options, make sure VSync and VBO's are both on
Is it fixed yet? Make sure that all your controls are ok and none of them are red.
Thank you it works! I feel kinda embarrassed it was such a simple thing though lol
They carefully read for content what is on the screen in front of them and followed webrosc's instructions.
