So it's been a while since I had played minecraft, and after feeling in the mood to build a glamorous house for me to live in, when I went to launch the game -after downloading the new starter and everything- it had crashed on me and said that I would have to update my graphics drivers?
Here's the original text it had shown:
"Lack of updated graphics drivers
We're sorry, but it seems there was an error while trying to render aspects of the game.
To solve this error, it is recommended that you update your graphics drivers.
If you are unsure of how to update your drivers, please click 'Fix the problem' for more information.
If you recently installed Windows 10, please ensure that your hardware manufacturers have updated for it. For more information, please select "Fix the problem". "
I know that when I used to play a lot of minecraft back then my computer had handled it fairly well aside from the occasional lagging and crashes from me playing with the files, but considering how old my computer was it was impressive it was even able to run the game. But after about 2 years since, they had updated the game, along with it's requirements to run minecraft. I had tried to update my drivers to see if it would solve the problem and I even installed a driver scanner in case my computer may have forgotten to install them, but to no avail.
Now let me say first that when I had used to run minecraft on my computer all those years ago it was on Windows 7. I had now since updated my computer to Windows 10 for some time and everything is still running just as smoothly, all except minecraft.
Here in this link I'm about to add below has all the information about my computer and all the stuff about its manufacture and some other mumbo-jumbo I don't understand. If you could be kind enough to click the link and check it out. I would be very grateful to gain some input to my predicament and see if it really are my graphics divers that are hindering me from enjoying a casual game of minecraft. Or if the real reason isn't my computer but some other unknown factor..? I wouldn't know.
Anyways, thanks for even bothering to look at my thread amongst the other clueless others who don't know how to handle their computers haha. I hope to get some feedback soon!
Thank you!~
