So, it's exactly like the title says. Creating a new world, loading an existing world, singleplayer or multiplayer, causes a crash. I've deleted and redownloaded every game resource, so it is now completely vanilla and still not functioning where it was before.
This is what I get every time:

though I'm not sure it would have anything to do with them. (Obviously I could be wrong as I have no idea what is going on with this entire situation.)
The problem wound up being my broken Windows Firewall; it hasn't been able to start itself for quite a while and I haven't been able to do it manually; you've prompted me to fix the problem and that in turn fixed Minecraft, as well as a few other programs unable to launch that I've been tearing my hair out over.
I had to go into regedit and delete every single file under parameters for the firewall service, pretty scary stuff. I'll probably have to reconfigure it now.
I don't even know how it got that way to begin with, but it's fixed now. Thanks once more.

Oops, here are my specifications:

though I'm not sure it would have anything to do with them. (Obviously I could be wrong as I have no idea what is going on with this entire situation.)
Minecraft has two parts to it, the 'client' part and the 'server' part.
They can't talk to each other.
This is almost certainly due to a firewall or antivirus software running on your computer.
Thank you guys so much!
