Ok So this is a last ditch effort to save my sanity
So What has been happening is that about a week ago me and my friend where playing a minecraft modpack nothing unusual 60-70 fps all is well. Until the next time i start it up my computer starts to over heat and my fps starts to fluctuate horribly and from that point on my modpack runs like complete garbage. I managed to get it to the point of where i can run a world at about 30-40 fps but if i try rendering any more of the terrain it has MASSIVE lag spikes that last 10 to 20 seconds until just eventually breaking down into an inescapable crash that i have to restart from
Things ive tried: 1. Messing with Optifine
2. getting the fan check out by and IT guy(fan works)
3. Cleaning it
4. Lowering the settings
5. FACTORY RESET
The thing is that it heats up near the RAM for the most part and i wouldnt be so upset about it if it wasnt for the fact that it was working one day and crap the next PLZ help.
