I'm trying to run MC 1.8.9 on Windows 10 64bit, Lenovo Z500 laptop, which has dual GPU's (high-end NVIDIA and integrated INTEL).
All drivers are up to date.
The problem I'm having is white screen flickers. It happens randomly when I turn my head/walk in MC. It looks EXACTLY as in this video:. Now, in the video, guy suggests to run Minecraft with NVIDIA GPU instead of INTEL, and that it should fix the problem. However, I am already running Minecraft with NVIDIA GPU. It is set as default video card to run 3D applications. Nevertheless, I tried running it manually with NVIDIA. And I'm 100% sure that NVIDIA is running MC, not INTEL card (I tried installing Optifine, which shows which GPU is in use - but Optifine didn't help the issue either).
As I said, all my drivers are up to date, my Minecraft installation is unmodified. Windows 10 was installed just weeks ago, so it's a clean installation - it should have no problems on it's own. I also tried earlier drivers for both NVIDIA and INTEL cards - didn't help either.
Can somebody please help? Please take a look at the video, and tell me if you know how to fix this issue. It's very annoying...
P.S. Before, I ran MC on this same laptop on Windows 7 64bit. There were no problems. So I tried running MC in Compatibility mode now, but it didn't help flickering either.
