One or more of the mods in your pack is requiring a higher version of Forge than is installed. Download the latest Forge for 1.7.10 (universal not installer) and rename it to "modpack.jar". next open the "bin" folder in your mod packs folder and replace the "modpack.jar" file there with the new one you created. This should fix the issue.

Ah thanks, but i need my other friend to play on this modpack and i don't know how to use a custom launcher, by the way how do i update my drives, I'm what some ppl would say a 'noob' ty.
This is an old post but I am having the same problem. It says forge: minimum version required is 10.13.4.1566
I have gotten this version 3 times and tried it over and over again yet the problem persists. I have used the universal and everything I even tried using the latest version.
It works perfectly fine with forge on the normal minecraft launcher but it seems as though technic is just trying to make me more frustrated. I want to figure this out by tonight but I don't think I will. Any help is appreciated.

So i started a technic modpack and when i press play it goes through installing and then it comes up with this message
*insert annoying weird old unknown alien voice*

I did what you said and all, but then i pressed play and it just loaded and went back to the technic screen ;o
