My friends and I have a private FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7.10 server. I wanted to add the Shaders mod to my copy of the modpack. I downloaded the 1.7.10 Forge version of the Shaders mod, added it to the modpack, and enabled it. I even checked the mods folder to ensure it was there. But when I launch the modpack, Shaders does not load. It is not in the mods list in-game. It's like it doesn't even know Shaders is there. It's not that big a deal, but I really love Shaders. Any suggestions?
Ok, so it's installed, but I have a new problem. Without shaders, my game runs very smoothly, around 45-50 FPS. My PC specs are pretty good; I have a 2GB dedicated video card, a quad-core CPU, and 16 GB of RAM. Simply installing Shaders, before I even add any shaderpacks, reduces even the Main Menu to 3 FPS or lower, with the same thing happening when I load my world. Again, it's still trying to run Minecraft's internal shader, as I have not yet attempted to ad any shaderpacks. I don't know how Shaders works, but I know this is NOT normal. I have installed the mod on a separate instance with no other mods, no problems. But even with no shaderpacks installed, Shaders makes FTB Infinity Evolved 1.7.10 lag hard.

Ok. I don't understand why that even affects performance on the main menu, but I see what you're saying. Oh well, it was worth a shot
