All is correct. RAM is set to 5GBs. Also tried it with 2, 3 and 4. 5 should be more than enough so I did not even attempt anything higher. Rather pointless.

Ok, i will set it to 4gb's.
When i attempt to load a pack, I click on play, and nothing loads. Minecraft does not start what so ever. As in my first post, i included the log. Within the log, it states "[19:05:50] [main/ERROR]: Unable to launch". So it does not even begin loading the game.

Ok. So I installed the Curse client, downloaded FTB Infinity, and got this error. It seems to be the same.
ALSO I downgraded Java from 8 to 7 (lastest versions) hoping it would fix something. But as I predicted, nothing had changed.

Update:
Tried a different route. I threw the mods/configs folders in my %appdata%, downloaded the correct version of Forge, installed it, and ran it.
Eventually after about an hour of troubleshooting errors and crashes, i finally got it going. It is not nearly the same as running it straight off of FTB, because the pack is ran different.
This was an experiment and i do not intend to play the pack like this. THIS IS NOT A FIX. SIMPLY A TEST.
So my installation of Forge (same version as the one the pack uses) was great. Forge ran like a champ. Im not sure if the install on the packs, or just FTB alone, created its own error.
I am still looking to fix my original problem within this thread. I also see this is a rather large problem for other users of FTB. If we can solve this, i feel like it could benefit someone other than me, and that is also one of my new intentions.

I seem to not be able to launch any modpack from the FTB Launcher. I have installed/uninstalled 4 different modpacks just for closure. No success.

All is correct. RAM is set to 5GBs. Also tried it with 2, 3 and 4. 5 should be more than enough so I did not even attempt anything higher. Rather pointless.
Ok, i will set it to 4gb's.
When i attempt to load a pack, I click on play, and nothing loads. Minecraft does not start what so ever. As in my first post, i included the log. Within the log, it states "[19:05:50] [main/ERROR]: Unable to launch". So it does not even begin loading the game.

Curse PremiumIf I remember correctly this is caused by a corrupted or otherwise messed-up Forge installation. Try reinstalling the whole launcher.
Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.
Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.
Notes - Provides a clientside in-game notepad.
Souls - After you die, a hostile Soul that stores your inventory will spawn.
Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.
Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
And a few others that we don't talk about.
Have tried a new FTB install, same error. Also tried previous versions of it. Same error.
I am installing curse now. Will update you guys soon. Thanks for the help.
Ok. So I installed the Curse client, downloaded FTB Infinity, and got this error. It seems to be the same.
ALSO I downgraded Java from 8 to 7 (lastest versions) hoping it would fix something. But as I predicted, nothing had changed.

Thats all that really pertains to this matter. Im not going to list my entire system.
Update:
Tried a different route. I threw the mods/configs folders in my %appdata%, downloaded the correct version of Forge, installed it, and ran it.
Eventually after about an hour of troubleshooting errors and crashes, i finally got it going. It is not nearly the same as running it straight off of FTB, because the pack is ran different.
This was an experiment and i do not intend to play the pack like this. THIS IS NOT A FIX. SIMPLY A TEST.
So my installation of Forge (same version as the one the pack uses) was great. Forge ran like a champ. Im not sure if the install on the packs, or just FTB alone, created its own error.
I am still looking to fix my original problem within this thread. I also see this is a rather large problem for other users of FTB. If we can solve this, i feel like it could benefit someone other than me, and that is also one of my new intentions.
So if you would like to help us out, please do so by letting us know in this thread!
