So I am trying to just relax and play a little bit of single player to pass time, but I'm having an issue where the game is not even enjoyable.
I am running at around 680~ FPS when I let it run on unlimited (I limit it to 144 to match my refresh and save power)
The lag is something like the game is running on another machine that can't keep up. If you have ever played on a slow server, with animals not moving, blocks taking 10 seconds to actually break, etc.
I've seen a lot of posts like this, none of them are answered. So lets set some things down before you reply.
I7 - Running at 4.8 Ghz
R9 390
MC installed on SSD, as well as Java 64 bit.
Tried different amounts of ram, ranging from 2, to 16GB. All with the same result.
Closed all applications in background.
Turned off my HDD to get rid of all the bloat, only vital things are on my SSD.
Played with all of the settings, they did pretty much nothing. Over 2k FPS on lowest settings, and 550~ FPS on highest, both of witch have server lag effect.
What's funny is if I host a server on my machine or play others, There is no lag. But single player, well GG.
