So, I've been playing Minecraft through the Technic Launcher recently. Two days ago I launched the TechnicLauncher and I was automatically signed in like normal. Today, however, I was prompted to log in. Not thinking twice about it, I entered my username and password to find out that my password was incorrect. I thought I misspelled it at first, but after repeated attempts, I was still unsuccessful at logging in. I then went to the Minecraft.net site to log in and change my password, only to find that the site still said my information was incorrect. I did not have caps lock on nor did I misspell anything, it was like someone changed the password to my account.
After a while of digging to find the email linked to my minecraft account, for my minecraft account is many years old now and the email I used is not normally used anymore. After sending a Username Request from the Minecraft.net site, the email showed that it wasn't linked to my account anymore either.
I am not sure if I was hacked into, but if so, was it possible someone changed the email and password linked to my account? I have searched the Mojang support page to no avail, so if someone could help me get in contact with them, I would appreciate it!
I do not have the transaction ID for my Minecraft copy, I used a credit card and the email was lost years ago. It says to contact them on the support page, but that brings me to the page the requires the ID. Is there any way to find it, or contact them another way?
Kylelee96 your account has probably been leaked on a website and if you used the same password that you did for your email someone probably hacked you.
Oh btw I saw your account on that website a few days back.
the email form is the ONLY way to contact them and they are the ONLY people who can help you, the form has a hyperlink for how to find your transaction id if you don't have it.
