I have two GTX 980s in my computer. Since one is not enough to run Minecraft at a vsync'd 144 FPS with the shaderpacks I use, I was hoping to be able to take advantage of both of them. After looking online for a while (periodically over the course of a few months), I haven't found any valuable information on the subject aside from forcing alternate frame rendering in the Nvidia Control Panel, but doing so yields worse performance than with one card despite both GPUs being taxed.
Is there a way I can enable SLI rendering for Minecraft?
