A couple months ago, I deleted my mods folder because my Minecraft wasn't launching. I put it in the trash can, and deleted it. Now, if I try to make a new folder called "mods", my textures get all messed up, and the mods don't even work! Can anyone help?
if that doesnt work you should try deleting everything and then reinstalling it after its fully deleted. that usually does the trick.
You don't need to do that. If MC is working, re-install Forge and create a Profile using Forge. Create a world with this Profile w/o any mods yet. This will create the folders you need (mods). Now copy the mods you want into the mods folder. Run MC and enjoy.

What do you mean by deleting everything? Which folder(s) should I save? Btw, I'm on Mac OSX.

After I installed and activated the new Forge, created a new profile, and opened MInecraft, the textures were still messed up-_-
Anyone know an answer?
