Hello.
Ok.. to make things simple: I used to play multiplayer a lot.. Minigame servers, Personal servers and all that. It has been about a month since I last played so I figured I could play some TNT Tag for fun. When I got to the server screen, none of them would connect. NONE
No Personal servers, No official servers, no minigame servers.. nothing
I turned off Firewall: Didn't work
I re-downloaded all the files: Didn't work
I updated/downgraded Java: Didn't work
I downgraded my minecraft: Didn't work D:
Weirdly enough I can connect to Realms normally...
The error I keep getting is "java.connectexception connection timed out no further information"
Someone please help me and Thanks in advance
2. are you connecting with the right version of minecraft
3. are the servers your connecting with still around? or have they changed their IP.
1: Yes it is.. I mean.. I paid for it and bought it in the official website
2: Yes. In fact I tried downgrading to 1.7.10 and it still didn't work (Current version is 1.9....latest)
3: Yes. None of them will connect. This includes (Sorry if I can't mention these) Hypixel, Shotbow and Mineplex
I have the same problem too! I have looked online for a solution and none of them worked! I use Malwarebytes too, I also use McAfee, they have never been a problem to me either! Although, I do have hamachi. I don't know if this has to do with it but lately i have been trying to port forward 25565 so my friends could connect to my server. In order for me to do that on my router i had to setup a static IP address. I had to go in my wifis settings and click "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Then I ticked use the following IP address and I ticked use the following DNS servers, then i filled them out correctly. I got the info from typing in my cmd, ipconfig /all i had to get my DNS server addresses from my default gateway site with my router. Once I did that i normally opened port 25565 and it worked, me and my friends could play together woohoo! Well not exactly i get on and i cant play on any other minecraft server. I also realize i cant make a match on Black ops 3! Did i just screw myself! Another issue could be that I changed things in firewall and created inbound and outbound rules. I made sure 25565 could get through my firewall. Then i was lost, i couldnt join anything. I tried changing my wifi settings back and, no luck!
Please help me ASAP!

Moderatorwhat antivirus are you using? also do you happen to use anything like hamachi on your computer, or a proxy of some sort?
