I forgot my mojang account password. I did a password reset. When I try to log on using new password ( and I do get a password changed success message) It still says password or username not recognized. ANy ideas ? Using windows 10
After 3 incorrect login attempts, a lockout is placed automatically by Mojang's systems on your network to protect accounts against brute force attacks to gain access.
This lockout is automatic and cannot be overridden, it expires after 3 hours. Wait 3 hours, don't log in at all. Reset your password using https://account.mojang.com/password -- then try again.

i havent got any lock out message
you won't. If someone tries to attack your password (too many failed attempts), the authserver will just fail all attempts until the lock expires.
