I am having an issue where if I try to host an LAN world.
When I host the world, it works fine.
The problem is that the player who clicks on the world is refused connection to the world. It says it loads, but then after a while it returns a error, something about a null I think (its been a while since I last tried).
My wifi network has a password on it, and since we got the new router, it's been doing this to all minecraft versions (PC & PE) but Xbox one. Could that be the case? We edited lots and lots of settings on the network but the password and edited lots of antivirus settings but nothing.
Any suggestions? Settings I may have missed? ANYTHING HELPS!
Provide the exact wording of the error. And logs from both players.
I don't think it's the computer or client though, before we switched routers, it worked fine. I'm pretty sure it's a setting the firewall or the router has enabled. But I will provide a log once I can get a friend over again. I should also mention that multiplayer servers are connected to just fine, no interuptions unless something is downloading from another device connected to the network.
