I honestly don't know where to put this, in the vanilla forum, in the modded forum, or if this is even a place where I can get help with this issue.
At this point, I'll take a shot, if it means I get some help.
Okay, so basically, I bought Minecraft with my mother's debit card about 2-3 years ago (This was when I had literally no other way to pay for online purchases). I made an account and everything was fine until about a week ago.
About a week ago, I tried to log into Minecraft on a new laptop I bought, only to be shown a message that my account was migrated. I thought "No big deal. I'll just sign in there". That's where the problem began.
My email wasn't recognized on the Mojang website.
After trying just about everything from logging in with my username to even trying all my other emails, as a test, I clicked "Make a new account" and put in the same email I used for my original account. For whatever reason, I was able to make a new account with that email and it's as if I never purchased the game in the first place. The strange part is that I logged into my account less than two weeks ago to download Minecraft onto my new laptop, and it was fine. Only when I wanted to start actually playing was there a problem.
Again, I don't know where else to go with this. I messaged support on Monday, and it's been four days without a response. I run a server, and I'd like to get this fixed ASAP.
