So, the computer in question is a Toshiba Satellite C660, quite old I know, but it still runs fine and can take Minecraft without a problem.
That is, before the Windows 10 update (woo-hoo)
Minecraft wouldn't even launch at all now, and as per the debug information provided by Mojang, I have gone and tried to update the drivers and all, but good ol' Windows seems to think that the driver it currently has is the best available driver (which seems to be the case anyway)
I have tried downgrading Java to before 8u60 too, but that didn't help with the problem at all.
Oh, and also, I have contacted the Inter support and the official support for the particular chipset has been terminated a while ago, so no help from them.

Oh, one more thing, the version of Minecraft I currently have is NOT MODDED, absolutely 100% vanilla.
If any other information is needed, I would be glad to provide them.
Any help at all would be AWESOME, thanks!

Retired StaffThe Mobile 4 Intel chipset is not supported on Windows 10. Intel does not provide drivers for that particular one as it has been dropped from support.
Yeah, I looked into that too, Windows 10 apparently just installed the most recent driver it had available.
The other games work fine, and the OS's normal display functions all work as intended, so there shouldn't really be a reason it shouldn't work.
Especially since that before the upgrade, when the computer was running Windows 7 Ultimate, 1.8.9 was working fine.
You will find that no OPEN GL games work because only Intel provides drivers with Open GL support, and it isn't doing that for obsolete chips.
Ah I see, thanks for the support guys, really appreciate it..
