I was wondering if there is a way to fix this bug. My brother and I have downloaded Forge with around 50 mods including Orespawn. Well, he created a world and we built stuff and houses. I think the total length that we played the world is around two hours. During that time we built a house and got armour and stuff. Then we got villagers, when my brother tried to open his inventory, the game crashed and came up with the 'Fatal error' message. He tried a few more times but whenever he opened up his inventory or furnaces or chests, the game would crash so bad I can't log into it.
Can somebody please help me? Oh and there's another bug that when I log in, we both would be Steves and whenever I collected something and logged out, everything would be gone and I would have my skin. Unfortunately I can't see my brother's skin. I'm sorry if this is not in the right topic forum. What I really want to find out is the Fatal Error bug.
I tried to go onto the launcher on my brother's computer, open up edit profile and change the JVM Arguments from 2G to something like 6G as someone said this will reduce lag and create more space. Are we doing anything wrong? Is there a way to fix the Fatal Error without slowly finding which mods caused it?
Post the crash report if there is one. If there isn't one, post the full FML log (.minecraft\logs\fml-client-latest.log).
And no, in 99% of cases, increasing your memory allocation to something extreme like 6 GB will do nothing but cause performance issues. When you give Java way too much memory, garbage collection gets lazy and will cause lag spikes. Keep it at an amount that's just enough. 2 or 3 GB should work.

Funny thing is, I deleted all the other worlds on my brother's Minecraft, but it didn't work. I didn't test it for a couple of days and this was the first time I played it. It worked and it didn't crash when I opened up my inventory. I'm a little bit scared it would lag and crash after playing it for a couple of minutes. Please check the crash log and see if there is any problem. Unfortunately, I discovered another bug. We have the useful pets mod, and when I tame my wolf, I can see mine and my brother's but he can't see mine or his. This also happened to me when we were playing on my world, I couldn't see the wolves but he could. You don't need to answer this bug, and I'm sorry for adding another problem.
Edit// Tried it with my brother and it crashed again. Please help, thanks.

I'm having a very similar issue. my skin is extremely messed up in my minecraft 1.7.10 forge single player world. I know 2 other people with this problem. whenever I start the world I look fine but the glitch happens whenever I die or go to a new dimension. I tried porting my skin back to a 1.7.10 format even though the only jacket layer I have on my skin is on my head which 1.7 supports that. but it did not work. please help my 1 friend who is having the same issue wants to start a server and a YouTube series but doesn't want us to look awful. I have around 40 mods and my pic gives 2gb ran to minecraft. I don't crash or anything it's just a skin glitch that I need to fix. Please help me if you can. If needed I can provide a list of mods I have altho none of them really mess with the player skin. And I do not have any hd skins. Nor do I play with a resource pack. This only happens in my forge profile please help me.

We both have 64 Java and Windows.
Thanks.

Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.
Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.
Notes - Provides a clientside in-game notepad.
Souls - After you die, a hostile Soul that stores your inventory will spawn.
Auto Refresh - Automatically refreshes your server list and alerts you when your selected server comes online.
Pick Block Plus - A clientside mod that significantly improves the vanilla pick block function.
And a few others that we don't talk about.
Ok, thanks. I'll reduce it to 3 GB and try to see if it works.
