I just got this computer and downloaded MC. Worked fine. Next day tried to log in and crashed after Mojang title screen. I deleted MC off computer. Updated Java and reinstalled. STILL CRASHING! My daughter has an 3 year lap top, running Windows 8, hasn't updated anything and has no problems playing. I downloaded the Windows 10 beta version but that doesnt allow me to play on the private server that I want to play on with friends.
