My little brother has a fairly old iMac which previously could launch the game fine, but after we formatted it to clean up the years worth of crap on it, it no longer can run Minecraft.
This is the message recieved from the launcher when we attempt to launch Minecraft 1.8.8:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /Users/Family/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions/1.8.8/1.8.8-natives-1452222307026505000/liblwjgl.dylib: Library not loaded: @rpath/libjawt.dylib Referenced from: /Users/Family/Library/Application Support/minecraft/versions/1.8.8/1.8.8-natives-1452222307026505000/liblwjgl.dylib Reason: image not found
