As the title states, the launcher works fine, but when I try to play the game itself, it looks like its about to, but then crashes, giving me a report as well, which I'll give in a moment. The pc I'm using is a dell inspiron 560 with a pentium(R) dual core processor, 6 gb ram and massive memory space, almost a tb of memory. it originally had windows 7 installed, but had upgraded to 10, reason will be for another time perhaps, towards the end of summer in 2015 so I'm unable to revert back. had played minecraft just fine before, especially since I was one of the ones who got it when it was still in alpha and beta, so I have no idea why it isn't working, but I think the last time I was able to play it was before having a graphics card and opengl 3.3 became requirements to play it. I don't have the graphics card that I bought last year installed mainly due to that the nic card I have won't read in the second slot it can go into and the software download options on the disc that comes with it only has the previous windows like 7, 8, vista and xp.
here's the system info for my computer;

also, before anyone asks, I've tried to reinstall opengl onto my computer, but I have no idea how as when I try to look online, all I get are random downloads that aren't even anywhere close to what I'm trying to get at which is just a download of the latest version of opengl. As for trying to open minecraft, I've also searched for the different methods others have used to run it on windows 10 and none seem to be working for me, even the videos talking about how to run minecraft without a graphics card, although when I went to download the mesa thing, I got a warning saying to steer clear from it

WHO told you to upgrade to Windows 10!, because it's the issue (intel 3rd generation Core series or higher required) You have a Pentium CPU with it's own GPU (no dedicated graphics, that is another fix) so you should find a way to downgrade (via CD or MediaCreationTools ) so you can run MC well
(AMD APU not affected)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
-Pixel Format Not Accelerated Problems in Windows 10 Reasons-
1.Old Intel CPU (2nd Gen and older) and these aren't ready for Windows 10.Please downgrade to an older version
2-Slow/Intel GPU (But sometimes Intel GPU just work fine from 3rd Gen CPU or newer on Win10)
3-Update Drivers (recommended for Dedicated GPU but not always for Intel's)
[This signature isn't to critisice Intel/Microsft or any thing of this sort, I am criticising You and You idiotness for not checking the requirements for Windows 10] (If you are annoyed of the ammount of the thread with a "Pixel Format Not accelerated" problem, plz Share this signature
how do I downgrade because when I last tried, it was a fail as all it did was delete the apps my computer had, whether they were preinstalled or if they were ones I had installed and I only upgraded to 10 because my computer kept freezing randomly, both in amount of time during said freeze as well as time between each freeze, when it was windows 7 and I kept getting a pop up on the bottom right corner of my screen saying to update to windows 10. so my question is this, how do I bloody downgrade to windows 7 without losing the apps that I've reinstalled?
the only reason I ask is because when I last tried to downgrade, all it did was delete all the apps that were on my computer and there wasn't the third option for restoring that I've seen on videos that say you can restore even after the 30 day period
well when I try to do the recovery thing in settings, the only options there are are the keep my files and remove everything and the odd thing is that the windows.old file is still on my computer, not sure why that is since its supposed to have been deleted after the thirty days, at least from what I've seen online anyway, also I would go looking up how to downgrade but as I've said before, I keep running into things that don't help whatsoever or don't give a clear indication that they work from those options being used. also, before anyone asks, the two options I mentioned for reset this pc after clicking get started were the same two options that were available the first time I tried to downgrade to windows 7. also all the videos and posts I've seen talking about how to downgrade refer to the third option that includes restoring to previous windows, either 7 or 8 depending on which the pc had, and that option doesn't exist for me, quite literally to be honest. also as a side note, minecraft is the only game I have issues with.
also, seeing as I'm not really tech savy when it comes to this, any suggestions on where to go to install windows 7 and remove windows 10 and if anyone suggests reset this pc from recovery in the settings, it won't work, I've already tried and it won't work and the options in recovery only include reset this pc and advanced startup

well I've found a site that talks about that and even gives a link on getting windows 7 directly from microsoft, after having looked up media creation tools. thanks a lot, hopefully this works. also, just wondering, but would doing this successfully get my pc back to windows 7 and no one told me to upgrade to 10, a little thing saying that my free install of windows 10 was available kept popping up every time I got on.
before I forget to ask, since windows 7 home premium was preinstalled on my computer when I got it, wouldn't that mean I'd have to redownload it using the disk(s) that came with my inspiron 560?

PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ISSUE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX IT. Ive been looking everything up and i have no idea how to make it run please help me
just wondering, but since my computer is a dell, had bought it at the PX, or exchange as it is now being called, about five or six years ago with it having windows 7 home premium pre-installed. I was wondering how I'd be able to reinstall that since it was pre-installed. Should I try using the drivers and utilities disc that came with my computer or would that not work?
If you had legal Windows AND you have the activation key you can install Windows 7 from any source (including torrents), as long as it is the same edition and you activate it using legal key.
I still have both discs and you're talking about the drivers and documents and drivers and utilities discs right? never mind, windows 7 has been discontinued
it didn't come with a windows 7 installation disc as far as I can tell, just the two discs I had mentioned. not sure why I didn't get one, but as I've said, I got my computer about 4-5 years ago so I don't really remember if that disc came with it. so what stores, besides the Aaffes main store as I don't have a military id anymore, it expired, would I be able to get a windows 7 installation disc and yes I still have the product key, the sticker it is on is still on the tower. although, just a question, would windows 7 still work fine even though its been discontinued, including any support that microsoft gave it? Just wondering
As long as you have the key you can get the CD from any source you want. You can even get it from torrents, as long as it is the same edition you have key for. The code is what makes it legal, not the installation media.
alright and you are absolutely positive that the code that came with the pre-installed windows 7 will work on the windows 7 installation. I just want to be absolutely sure before I attempt this

If you've got a Windows 7 Home Premium CD, it should work.
I meant if I downloaded the installation from online because my computer didn't come with a windows 7 home premium cd. although I might hold off on installing since if I choose install latest updates it fails and if I choose the other I have to backup all my files. really wishing I had stuck with windows 7 instead of going up to 10
I'm going to hold off on reinstalling windows 7 until I get a flash drive or something with enough memory to backup my files, which would be quite a lot even though it doesn't use up half the memory my computer has, which is close to a terabyte
You can use any installation media with files from anywhere. I've done this numerous times without any problems. Remember: it's the key that decides if system is legal, not the installation media.
As for backing up your stuff, don't you have a D: partition? It doesn't get wiped unless you choose to during installation so you can store your files there. If you don't have one it's really easy to make one. I can post instructions if you want me to.
As the title states, the launcher works fine, but when I try to play the game itself, it looks like its about to, but then crashes, giving me a report as well, which I'll give in a moment. Curse PremiumIf you bought the computer from AAFES, it should have come with the necessary disks. Maybe in the 5-6 years since, they have been misplaced?

alright and you are absolutely positive that the code that came with the pre-installed windows 7 will work on the windows 7 installation.
