I recently got a new PC with windows 10, but I cannot connect to any servers. I always get "Failed to connect to server. java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information:"
Things I have tried
Opening ports 25565 both TCP and UDP
Allowing minecraft to access internet through Mcafee security
Changing DNS to 208.67.220.220
clearing the hosts file in my system32/etc folder
deleting minecraft and java and reinstalling
rebooted my computer after each of these steps AND multiple times in between
On my old PC I was able to connect so I know its something to do with my new one. Thanks in advance for anyone with solutions

Run the program, choose "I accept", then "Do a scan and save a log file". After a while a text file will open. Copy everything, put the log on http://paste.ubuntu.com and give us the link.

Moderatorremove mcafee, its known to cause issues with minecraft and the only fix is removal
I removed mcafee but it is still not connecting.

Moderatoryou still have mcafee present, use http://us.mcafee.com/apps/supporttools/mcpr/mcpr.asp to fully remove mcafee
ran the removal program, and when it finished it prompted me to reboot. I restarted my computer but it still wont connect
