Alright so far all of my worlds are vanilla and I like keeping them that way. But tonight I'm having some issues with lag. No not like low frame rates but as if my ping is 1000+. In Single Player of all things. I loaded up a flat world preset called Tunneler's Dream first and the game was using up all of the 1GB of ram allocated to it. Eventually it crashed. Log in spoiler.

Loaded up the launcher again, changed the JVM arguments to 2GB then back to 1GB and in both the world acted the same. I dug down a few blocks, placed some TNT to blow out a large area and set it off but...nothing. It vanished. Closed the world and game via task manager, came back in and the TNT finally exploded. Upset this wasn't the type of world I wanted, I got rid of it and started another. This time it was Caves of Chaos. In the past I ran amplified worlds on my pc just fine over 100fps (pc build in signature, however it's 16GB now and not just 8). I spawned in and all the mobs were darker than normal. Was just really high so I hopped down and looked around to find more. I punched a creeper and it took 5 seconds to register and another 10 for it to complete the flying back animation. Just went back to my normal super flat world and even tried my normal creative world and they're both working fine. Not sure what's causing this. Using the Faithful 32x texture pack as well.
Also tried a normal Super Flat world and it loaded up better than the other two worlds.
