My son basically took over my Minecraft account so I'd like to change it to his email and let him have the account, then make a new account with my email address again. Anyone done this, would there be any issues? Seems to be theoretically possible, but I'd feel better if someone with real experience could give me the nod knowing it went fine. Thanks for your time!
I just know how these registration systems can be sometimes, and I'm afraid it might not let me make an account with the old email. Had issues a while back after changing my Steam account email. So anyway, last try, anyone with experience doing this? Thanks!
you could change your IGN, make your son an account using your old IGN, send him all your worlds and add all the servers to the list, change his skin to your skin, make yourself a new skin, or do it the aforementioned way.

like many users of the minecraft forums i'm a member of the server total war (IP:167.114.100.168:438) the server includes a 1:1500 scale map of earth.
those of you wondering why i don't have an active RP (so far none). i try. but whenever i get to the rules section of it my computer restarts. computer: i realise what your telling me and i give up.
Yes you definitely can. I had a Mojang account from about 3 years ago with my current email address (the one I still use as of today) but I decided to make a new Mojang account since I didn't think my old one had any up to date info on it and bought Minecraft instead on there instead of my old one.
However, to create a new Mojang account that was currently associated with another account, you must first change the old account into a different email address before you make a new account with the same e-mail address that was on the old one before you changed it.
