When he gets on a server and right clicks on lets say a compass to go join a mini game or in his case factions. MC closes and this error msg appears

Weird. There are thousands of reasons that this would go haywire. Have your friend update this system using Windows Update or the equivelant on a mac. Have you tried that yet?

No, but his computer never did this before. He does not need an update

Then I dont have a clue what it would be, and i am a programmer... pretty bad . LOL
