So, recently i've been watching youtubers and they are playing hidden versions of Minecraft. I want to play the hidden versions too but they are not in the launcher please someone help me how to get hidden versions of minecraft
If they are not in the launcher and you don't have your own copy of the jar then then you cant play them. obtaining one would breach Mojangs terms and this forum will not allow posting of the jars
For example, the following links are to snapshot 14w02c, which is no longer available in the launcher but is still on Mojang's servers (somebody else just posted a very similar thread recently asking for this snapshot):
Also, I'd be highly suspicious of those MediaFire/Dropbox links - which are violating Mojang's ToS if they appear to be what I think they are; the MediaFire link is 163 MB so I presume they are archives of jars (the links I gave are directly from their servers).

Click Edit Profile in your launcher then place a tick in whichever Version Selection box you need.
You can then select Use Version in the drop down menu.
Edited to add: Just be careful of using different versions on current saves, as it can cause corruption.
No, i mean like versions like c0.0.15a or c0.0.17a like that.

Curse PremiumI'm assuming you're talking about snapshots? If so, just click Edit Profile and tick the "Enable experimental development versions ("snapshots")" box.
Realistic Torches - Causes torches to burn out after a configurable amount of time.
Nature's Compass - A utility item that allows you to search for any biome's location in the world.

Do i just have to ask Mojang or find the hidden versions online?
Don't try to find these versions that you can't find in the launcher.
I'll admit it, I went looking for a indev jar, I really wanted to play that version.
After looking through countless pages, I had zero luck.
And anyway, you're breaching Mojang's terms by obtaining such jars.
I don't know about old Classic versions but you can get (almost?) any snapshot by changing the version in the following URLs:
http://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/VERSION/VERSION.jar
http://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/VERSION/VERSION.json
For example, the following links are to snapshot 14w02c, which is no longer available in the launcher but is still on Mojang's servers (somebody else just posted a very similar thread recently asking for this snapshot):
http://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/14w02c/14w02c.jar
http://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/versions/14w02c/14w02c.json
You can find more in this thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/discussion/173960-minecraft-jars

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
