Install Forge and then pop the latest Optifine into the mods folder. That's all. Newer versions of Optifine have Shaders Mod built in, so there's no need to install it separately.

Ive searched everywhere for guides and how to's on youtube but to no avail at all. Is there a step-by-step process or link I could check out?
The all want to make new profiles on Minecraft and that's NOT what I want it to do
