I recently got a third monitor for my desktop computer, and have been playing with the NVidia Surround settings to enable super-wide resolutions for gaming. It's worked more-or-less flawlessly so far except in Minecraft. I verified that these problems were only occurring at these high resolutions, as I launched Minecraft normally at 1024x1080 and it worked fine.
First off, unless Minecraft is in Fullscreen mode, the mouse is constantly going down. I can move it up, but it forces movement down. If I invert the settings it forces movement up. Enabling fullscreen mode instantly fixes it, and un-enabling it brings the issue back.
Secondly, once in fullscreened mode, all of the menus' input (inventory screens, options, main menu, etc.) are being offset to the right What I mean by that is that if my mouse hovers over a button, it doesn't work, but if I move the mouse about 5 inches to the right of the button, it does work. The menus themselves appear in the right location, however. If I go out of fullscreen mode, like in the main menu for instance, the whole menu centers itself in my right side monitor and the "offset" previously mentioned goes away.
From my experimentation with Nvidia surround, it works great as long as you are in a game and fullscreened. Windowed programs tend to freak out a bit, but that's understandable since it's turning the native resolution to a triple monitor span. At any rate, any suggestions on a fix? The exact version of my graphics card is GeForce GTX 760, if it makes any difference.
