Im trying to figure out why my minecraft has gotten choppy all of a sudden. Now, i dont have the best Laptop;
6GB RAM
Intel Core i3 2.3 2350
Nvidia 520mx
Windows 7
HOWEVER, before people say "your specs arent good enough", I have been playing Minecraft for almost 2 years everything on max, including 32 chunks. Its just Minecraft with the problem as I can play the other games just fine. I am thinking maybe it has to do with the xmas changes (???), I dont see any other explanation. I do run it with the dedicated card and not the integrated one and have not changed drivers or computer settings. Viruses and adware also discarded.
I have also lowered the minecraft specs from 32 chunks to 14-16 and still.

The xmas changes are only temporary and shouldn't affect your computer after xmas is over.
