I open up my launcher and click "Play". I have tried on Minecraft 1.8.8 and 1.8.9 and it doesn't work on either of them. I know VM stands for Virtual Machine which has something to do with Java, but I can't get it to launch. I have the new launcher installed.
FIX: I literally changed my profile from OptiFine to Default and it works fine. I have no clue why this happened.
