I've been playing minecraft on 1.7.2 since it was released, my server recently updated to 1.8 and I can't play on it because I get an error when I try to launch it.
The following is the error report I get:

lol no, all I had to do was enable minidumps and I was able to run 1.8. while I do need a new computer, I am still able to run 1.8, just had to edit a setting.

heh I feel stupid, just reread the error report and saw
"Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows"
Found the following video and was able to fix it.
You need to buy a new computer.
