So recently I just got a new Windows 7 hard drive installed into my Sony Vaio Laptop. I downloaded minecraft and everything, but then I also wanted to get optifine back onto my laptop. I've had recent trouble and I finally downloaded Java SE Binary Platform to read all my downloads. One day, or these past couple months I've managed to get Optifine downloaded, but when I open up the file after its download, it pops up a black screen(like from dxdiag) with some text and vanishes instantly. I have it set to open up with the Java thing, but I can't manage to have it run correctly. My other crappy laptop just broke down like an hour ago and won't connect to the wifi after a storm hit the Bay Area and the power went off. It was connected like an hour before I left the house and stopped working. So, if you guys manage to help or have anything useful, that would be very much appreciated and I could get minecraft running past 10fps :D.
