OK, I am not saying that your wrong, but it has been holding up fine with Windows 10. No lag (EXEPTION: Minecraft Windows 10 BETA lags a little). I checked the compatibility multiple times and each time it said no current applications would conflict (liar) and Minecraft was the only one that didn't work. P.S. I upgraded from Windows 7 directly to Windows 10, is there any way to go to Windows 8/8.1?
Your computer is running a SandyBridge CPU< which means the onboard GPU is an Intel HD 2000/3000, that GPU is not supported by Intel in windows 10.
When you installed windows 10 windows install a form of windows 8 driver which hgives you some uses, when you use an older java on the computer that GPU driver seems to work better, but soon as java is updated the GPU drivers break for minecraft.
Windows Lies when it checks compatibility, its looking at if there are microsoft basic drivers for the devices, not official manufactures drivers.
And no you can't downgrade to a version of windows you down own, you can either use the built in revert of windows 10 to the old windows (only valid for a month from upgrade) or use a disk and key to install a fresh version of windows
This is very direct please respond I will ASAP if you need and more info click here for the DrctXDiag.
P.S. My problem is Windows 10 Minecraft Fail to Launch Pixel Format not Accelerated
No idea of what to put here... oh right, THIS!
