Recently I've been experiencing lag on Minecraft in my world and on servers even if I have the chunks at 2 (Tiny).
I also had installed shaders to see if it would work, long story, so bear with me. I installed shaders and a few shaderpacks, realizing i can't play with the normal HD settings, I tweaked down some settings so it could work, though my gameplay was blurry, after putting them off, I realize my normal Minecraft was blurry, so I made it HD again in the shader options while disabling shaders. Now my Minecraft is laggy. I uninstalled shaders, thinking it is corrupting my gameplay experience, but it still is kind of laggy.
So I think uninstalling Minecraft and reinstalling it would work. Can you tell me how to properly do it without screwing up and ending up with an error like "you're an idiot and now u can't install minecraft ever again bahaa", please?
Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Apologies if you cannot understand me.

Literally just delete the .minecraft folder. If you don't know how to find it, google it.

I know how to find it. Just no control panel involved? Just delete it and remove it in the recycle bin? ?

yep. honestly you can probably just delete the versions folder and be fine. But if not be sure to back up all your worlds/texturepacks/serverIPs

You can either use the control panel or you can just manually delete the .minecraft folder.
Thank you everyone. I deleted it and got an out of the oven copy of Minecraft. It's less laggy now
