So i went into my finder today, (i have a mac) and saw this: Click Here Because of this i can't access the .minecraft library which prevents me from changing the music and retrieving texture packs.

What happens if you try opening the resource pack folder in-game (there is a button in the resource pack menu that will open it) or in the launcher open the profile editor and click on the "open game dir" button near the bottom? I presume that you can still launch the game and/or launcher since you did not say if they are working or not and either of these should work if they do. Other than that, I don't know much about Macs or know exactly what is going on in the screenshot (I presume that the AppData (or the Mac equivalent) folder is hidden; this is also the case in Windows unless you set it to show hidden files and folders).
