I bought Minecraft about two hours ago. I've downloaded about two mods in total, OptiFine and Forge.
When I downloaded forge I was able to play but it was quite laggy so I downloaded OptiFine to help reduce my lag, I also downloaded about 2-3 custom maps. I reopened my minecraft launcher page and waited around two mins for it to load, I waited another five mins and nothing happened. It's been about an hour now and neither profile will' load. I've tried uninstalling Minecraft and redownloading but nothing occured, I've tried installing the latest Java but I'm up to date. (I've also tried reinstalling). I've also tried clearing out my minecraft folders and uninstalling the mods but nothing's worked so far.
I've tried to search for issues related to mine in the forums but none of the solutions seem to have worked
I really want to enjoy minecraft since it's my first time playing it but not sure what I can do, please help!
