My minecraft is broken , it can't be updated ! After 1.8.7 version onwards , my minecraft version could not update! I'm trying to get it to update to 1.8.9 , but it just won't. I only have versions 1.5.2 , 1.7.2 , 1.7.10 , 1.8 , 1.8.4 , 1.8.7 Someone plz help

Was this caused by the version of java? State down your version of java and ill try yours ! Someone help!
