Every time I try and log in for the last few days, I am unable to do so and I get the attached messages. It started when I downloaded the curse launcher and tried to launch blood and bones I tried to login, failed and the message said "Sorry but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that minecraft is not blocked". below that message in parenthesis and italics it says, (SocketException: Connection reset) and with the curse launcher, when I try and log in it gives the "Sorry but we couldn't connect to our servers. Please make sure that you are online and that minecraft is not blocked" then after that it says (CertificateException: No Subject Alternative DNS Name Matching Authserver.mojang.com found.)
I went to my antivirus thinking maybe it had started blocking it for some reason and I expressly allowed minecraft through the fire wall and nothing changed. I have been playing minecraft without issue on this computer for almost three years. Im definitely connected to the internet as I am writing this now and as for the rest of the messages, I don't have the slightest comprehension of them and so I come here.
This has never happened to me before and its really irritating because I cant play minecraft at all, I'm honestly not sure if this is even the correct place to post this thread but any insight as to where I should go or whats going on would be greatly appreciated. pls, hep me.
