According to what happened to him, his brother upgraded the computer to Windows 10. But then accidentaly deleted Windows 7. Ever since he tried installing minecraft on his windows 10, it fails and pops an error:
We're sorry but it seems there was an error while trying to render aspects of the game.
To solve this error, it is recommended that you update your graphics card... etc etc
He tried but it didn't work
Minecraft Version 1.8
Windows 10 (amd64) version 10.0
Java Version 1.8.0_25 Oracle Corporation
Originally his computer was a Dell Inspiron 560 Windows 7
Dell's support page for this computer included drivers for both AMD and Nvidia dedicated cards as well as the typical Intel, so it really depends upon which variation was purchased.

That's not enough info. The Inspiron 560 had several different configurations.
Post a dxdiag and be prepared to be out of luck.
