Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me with a mod problem I'm having.
I have the newest version of Minecraft installed - 1.8.9.
My operating system is Windows 8.1 Pro.
I have the latest version of 64-bit Java installed.
I installed the latest version of Forge 1.8 (forge-1.8-11.14.4.1577) and Optifine 1.8 (OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_G7) together successfully.
(Note: I couldn't use the latest version of Optifine - 1.8.9 because when I do it crashes Minecraft when I put it with Forge, but the old 1.8 version works successfully)
When I add the GLSL Shaders Mod (ShadersMod-v2.4.12mc1.8) to the mods folder in .minecraft and launch it as usual, now every time I click Play, Minecraft crashes and a crash report appears in the Launcher window.
The following is the crash report:

I just need the GLSL Shaders mod to be compatible with Forge and Optifine, that shouldn't be so hard, right?

If you have read the Shader's installation instructions (or whatever it's called), specifically the part where it says which version of Forge it's not compatible with, you should know the answer
I'm not sure what the difference is between these two shaders mods if any. I just know the second one is probably working (it's not crashing with it in the mods folder anyway)
Well, it's generally best to download mods from their minecraftforum threads. Some other sites may redistribute mods (minecaftsix doesn't do that though), and most of the time leave out important information.

Curse PremiumIf you have read the Shader's installation instructions (or whatever it's called), specifically the part where it says which version of Forge it's not compatible with, you should know the answer
I have it fixed now. I'm new to modding I only started yesterday,
I followed the instructions from here to install the mod: http://minecraftsix.com/glsl-shaders-mod/
It mentions nothing about compatibility on that page that I can see, I just followed the links from that page.
In the end I had to use a different shaders mod I think, this is where I got it: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286604-shaders-mod-updated-by-karyonix and followed all the guidelines there to get it to work.
I'm not sure what the difference is between these two shaders mods if any. I just know the second one is probably working (it's not crashing with it in the mods folder anyway)
