I've had this problem for a while and it's killing me. I've uninstalled both Minecraft and Java multiple times to no avail. Can anyone help me out? I appreciate it greatly. Here's the log on failure to launch. I have no idea what any of this means.

Did you read what this said?
"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
The hs_err_pid file will show for sure, but this is the same problematic frame as another crash that was caused by Evolve.
If you have Evolve then see: https://www.evolvehq.com/games/minecraft/topics/troubleshooting-minecraft-crashes-when
You're officially my favorite person in the world. It worked immediately. Thank you!
