Some adware called go.goadvs had somehow infected my Minecraft launcher. Whenever I launched Minecraft, my minecraft forum page would suddenly be redirected to some other page while the launcher loaded up messages from Mojang. Malwarebytes couldn't detect the infection, and nothing else seemed to be causing it.
So I did what I thought would work. I redownloaded and reinstalled the program. Problem solved... for now... You never know with malware and viruses. Especially now that I'm hearing that some of them will hide in BIOS and any place that holds firmware so the only way to get rid of them is to replace your motherboard or anything else that has writable firmware...
Some Viruses Use Java. If You run Minecraft while the virus is running, they will both conflict eachother and you'r antivirus may think minecraft is a virus...

Did you do a Custom Malwarebytes scan? Check all the boxes, and it will do a complete scan of your computer.
(which takes hours, but it's worth it) If the adware is still there, a Custom Scan should do it.
