I use a gaming laptop to play games. I rarely play minecraft, but when I do it's creative mode with my friends. I've noticed an extremely low fps 20-30. But, I've tested it on Multiplayer servers and single player worlds to test it out. I changed the graphics to fast and tinkered with the settings (Which I know very little about I'm not good at minecraft) in hopes to fix it, but to no avail. I've been curious because it is a new laptop and in other games, League of legends, Borderlands, etc. I can run at full graphics and get a smooth 280 fps. I normally cap around 120, but no matter where I cap the fps in minecraft only peaks at 30. I don't know why or what is going on, and I've heard that some boosters or whatever can effect the fps, but I do not know for sure. It is fully update minecraft client, but I do not run windows 10 yet. The processer is in the i7 line, and it is the model Blade by Razer. Thanks and I hope you can help!
Not 100% familiar with your model of laptop. But I would guess it has 2 GPU's a dedicated one and the Intel on thats part of the i7. If I had to make a wild guess I would think your game is trying to use the Intel GPU. You should have the ability to set that somewhere in your graphics settings.
