ok, what happens is a memory leak in java. try reinstalling jre. also, "oldfart" is an awefull account name. i feel pitty for your computer XD

java 8 u say? well, i had some issues with the ftb launcher and java 8. appearantly, some mods cant handle jre 8, only 7. u can install it without uninstalling jre 8. just use a different java path that leads to jre 7.
Ah, this is what i forgot! I never changed the setting in Minecraft launcher to the newest Java 8 - it was still using whatever version the launcher downloads. I downloaded 7 and installed it, but since i changed the launcher setting to Java 8 - i haven't got an error. Thank you for your help.
the problem is a memory leak, the most terrible of all errors because its hard to find whats causing it.
i also saw that optifine took a lot of memory so heres what i suggest
try playing without java arguments.
if it still crashes,
try playing without optifine.
if it STILL crashes, then i cant help you, im sorry
NOTE: each time you test it, dont play on your regular world, but start a new world to keep your progress safe.
Removed the java arguments, still got the error, made new profile without Optifine (with and without java arguments) and i still got the error. Any suggestions on who i should contact about this or any info i can use (im thinking of starting a new thread with all the new info)?

I will try to get it to crash when it loads, but its hit and miss.

Ah, this is what i forgot! I never changed the setting in Minecraft launcher to the newest Java 8 - it was still using whatever version the launcher downloads. I downloaded 7 and installed it, but since i changed the launcher setting to Java 8 - i haven't got an error. Thank you for your help.
Hmm still doing it - it seemed to stop for a session or two, but now its back to doing it even with Java 7:

And just in case my Java parameters might have something to do with it, this is the settings under JVM arguments:

Removed the java arguments, still got the error, made new profile without Optifine (with and without java arguments) and i still got the error. Any suggestions on who i should contact about this or any info i can use (im thinking of starting a new thread with all the new info)?
