My Minecraft, with the recent download and installation of Minecraft Forge(From this site), has seemingly decided to kick me off of multiplayer.
The long and short of it is: Whenever I try to connect to a Multiplayer Server now, I get the following error:
[22:51:00] [Client thread/INFO]: Created: 512x512 textures-atlas [22:51:12] [Client thread/INFO]: Connecting to US.MINEPLEX.COM, 25565 [22:51:12] [Server Connector #1/ERROR]: Couldn't connect to server java.lang.NullPointerException: group at io.netty.bootstrap.AbstractBootstrap.group(AbstractBootstrap.java:80) ~[netty-all-4.0.23.Final.jar:4.0.23.Final] at ek.a(SourceFile:264) ~[1.8.8.jar:?] at awz$1.run(SourceFile:59) [1.8.8.jar:?] [22:51:16] [Client thread/INFO]: Stopping! I've heard that this problem is often caused by antivirus(specifically McAfee). Are there any other fixes that don't require me to switch antiviruses?
