I recently just upgraded my windows 8 computer to windows 10. When I had windows 8 minecraft ran fine but when I got windows 10 I noticed that when I tried to use any resource pack my game would go down to 2-5 FPS. I have tried many things to solve this problem, at one point I tryed using a 32bit java for minecraft instead of the 64bit java my computer normally uses. This solution worked until minecraft began to say that it was out of memory and I couldn't play at all. I am currently running a win 10, 64bit Asus Zenbook 305 that I purchased last year. I use a couple of mods but they are all working correctly and do not appear to be related to the problem. Please help me because I have tried so many things and I am really frustrated right now!
I know this is a really old thread, but I thought i'd respond since I've had the same problem. As far as I can tell, something about the way windows 10 uses integrated graphics card makes minecraft unplayable. my (integrated graphics) laptop will no longer play minecraft, but it still runs fine on my (dedicated gtx 750) desktop. I've spoken to about 5-10 other people who have had a similar experience.
