So I just got this new computer with Windows 10, and I'm trying to install Optifine for my minecraft, but when ever I try to download or open Optifine, I get this:
Unable to install Java
There are errors in the following switches:
"C:/Users/(my name)/Downloads/Optifine_1.8.8_HD_U_F5.jar";.
Check that the commands are valid and try again
And this pops up for every mod I try to download as well. I never had this problem on my old computer as well.
My operating system is 64 bit, and I am using the latest Java version, Java version 8 update 66.
Update:
Now I reinstalled Java and stuff and a black screen pops up and disappears I think it is a command prompt.
Did you install 64 bit Java?

Maybe, I just downloaded the Java on the home page thing. Can you send me the link to the 64 bit java?
