I apologize if this topic has been posted a billion times already but I can't find a solution to this anywhere. I bought the download card today and I can't get the download to finish. I've disabled firewalls, forwarded ports, updated Java, tried earlier versions (only the very oldest seem to work, I want to play the most recent!) I can't paste the whole log, but here's all of the error messages.
Okay so I had a bit more of a play around with it and got it to work!
Here's what I did, but I don't know why it worked, if it was a server issue, pc issue, file tree issue or what...
I started at the very earliest version of the game, and kept quitting out after it had finished downloading all the files.
I kept trying each new version just to see if there might have been a compatibility issue involved - I tried 1.2, then 1.3, then 1.4 etc, all the way up to the newest version.
Once I got up to newer versions that didn't work before (1.6 etc), they suddenly started working for me!
I'm not sure if this will solve it for anyone else, but it's worth a try if you're tearing your hair out trying to get it to work
