Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap
I used to play with 4 GB of allocated RAM, which worked completely fine. Yesterday, it stopped launching. I changed the arguments from "-Xmx4G" to "-Xmx2G" Which also didn't work. I now can only play with 1 GB at max, which is not quite enough for the settings I like to use. The confusing part is that I have 9.4 GB of RAM available when I run it. Any help?

That's exactly what I would expect when using 32bit Java, which is the one that is most often presented for download by default.
I downloaded the latest 64 bit version of Java. I never downloaded a 32 bit though, and I have automatic updates turned off. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
