Hi, This may be embarassing, but I still use Minecraft 1.6.4, I don't have a good computer and my graphics card can't run Minecraft higher than 1.7.2, that's because Minecraft changed from OpenGL 2.0 to 2.1 or something like that.
A few mounths ago 1.6.4's forge got a problem so everytime I added a mod to my "mods" file I had to reinstall the forge so the forge could recognise the mod, also if I wanted to clean my "mods" folder and install the mods, I would have to install the forge after all the mods.
But a few weeks ago 1.6.4's forge got annother problem, so now I can't even install it cause when I use the installer it says that the forge was "sucessfuly installed" but it wasn't even installed, when I go to the "versions" folder there's nothing (except other common versions I've already used like the vanilla 1.6.4, or vanilla 1.7.2).
I really want to know what happened to forge. Is there any fix? Thanks guys
